All Decked Out was able to accomplish something we had given up hope on.

We had a very large bi-level redwood deck which was starting to rot. We had our favorite handyman give us a bid and it was way above our budget. We were convinced we were not going to be able to replace our deck with Trex materials. We decided to give it one last ditch effort and went to the Home Improvement Show. There we found three deck contractors. From the minute I saw the beautiful deck and pergola All Decked Out had set up for the Home Improvement Show, I knew that was the team I wanted to work with. They took pride in their skills. They built a display at the Home Improvement Show that would only be in place for three days, but they built it like it would be there forever.

We had all three deck contractors give us a bid but the minute I talked with Jim Brown, we just liked him!! He wasn’t the cheapest bid but we weren’t looking for the cheapest. We were looking for someone who took pride in their work, wanted to work “with us,” and not tell us what we wanted. Jim just seemed like someone I knew I could work with. He gave us a bid and it came in much closer to our budget so we were in. This also speaks to the need to have a deck company build your deck, not just a handyman!! From the first meeting, Jim was easy to work with. He listened to what we wanted and we started working on the plans. I like that he only works on one project at a time so that means his three man team was at my house every day until it was done! They, Bruce, Kai, and JJ are the some of the nicest, hardest working men we have met. Each day I would go out and check on the progress and they were always so kind, showing me what had been done, and asking what I thought. This project was big, taking over three weeks to complete. Their attention to detail still amazes me. They took such pride in every aspect of the deck building, even parts I would never have thought about.

As usually happens, there were a few curve balls along the way. Jim would respond by saying, “it can be done, we just need to figure out how.” He and his team were always eager to find just the right solution that would meet our needs and they always made sure we approved!

Jim is a great communicator, which I really like! The result is a beautiful Trex deck that is exactly what we had hoped for and more! We like All Decked Out so much, we are going to have them come back and rebuild our front deck!

Jeff, Jim and the All Decked Out team are absolutely phenomenal and we would highly recommend them to any of our friends or families who are looking to have a deck done. They were prompt, and delivered a finished deck that was far above and beyond our expectations. Their service also went far above and beyond, with them volunteering to let our dogs out at lunch time and after they were done working for the day. They use top of the line products, and during construction when they found problems (such as water damage behind the old deck) they repaired and fixed everything as it was found. Charleene and I want to tell you both that we are extremely pleased with the deck projects completed by All Decked Out at our places in Billings and in Red Lodge. We have enjoyed them and have also received many very positive comments on them. The decks are very solidly built and your attention to detail is quite obvious. In Billings, you were able to construct the deck to accommodate our ash tree and provide us with even more square footage than we had with our original deck. In Red Lodge, your walkway design connecting the front and rear decks is wonderfully useful and you did a fantastic job with the privacy fence and wide gates for the rear deck. Snow removal has been a snap! Did I mention how much we like our custom benches at both locations?

All Decked Out is a first class operation whose workmanship is top notch! We highly recommend All Decked Out to anyone considering decks, walkways, and such.
